COVID-19 Update: Travel Requirements
Non-nationals who are not fully vaccinated will not be allowed entry into Guyana at this time.
A person is considered fully vaccinated if 14 days have passed since receiving either a single-dose vaccine or the second dose of a two-dose vaccine, approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Travellers may begin the application process for a travel pass 72 hours before arrival in Guyana.
Both adults and minors must submit a negative RT-PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours before arrival in Guyana. The PCR test must be in English.
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated will be required to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine at an approved facility, at their own expense. They must also be retested at the approved quarantine hotel. Evidence of this must be presented to authorities both before departure and upon arrival in Guyana. Be sure to confirm all accommodation arrangements before starting the application process.
